The Chippendales dancers are spicing up the NOH8 Campaign, the silent protest which raises awareness and funds for gay rights causes, including ending California's 2008 voter-approved gay marriage ban, Proposition 8. The NOH8 Campaign, which is helmed by photographer-activist Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley, photographs celebrities, politicians, professional athletes and everyday folks with their mouths duct taped and the campaign's familiar “NOH8” slogan often written on one cheek. TV icon Betty White attributes her huge following in the LGBT community to her racy characters and her love of animals, in an interview with Frontiers LA magazine. "Throughout my career, I’ve always portrayed characters that were humorous, but also weren’t afraid to speak their minds, especially when it came to racy or controversial topics," says White, whose résumé includes The Mary Tyler Moore Show's sardonic Sue Ann Niven and The Golden Girls' naive Rose Nyland. "I think this struck a chord with the LGBT community. We both also share a very strong love for animals. When you combine the two, it’s a very strong match." http://bit.ly/pufRRw

Over the past several months, the our friends at the NOH8 Campaign has been working on a brand new PSA inspired by the Freedom to Marry's Letter to President Barack Obama, which illustrates how important it is for the President of the United States to publicly and vocally support the freedom to marry.
While President Obama recently announced his support of the Respect for Marriage Act - a bill that would repeal the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act - now is a critical time for the President to put into plain words what he has avoided saying up until now.
Visit Freedom to Marry's "I Do" Site and add your name to the list of over 116,000 signatures supporting this incredibly important letter; a copy of which you can view at the bottom of this page!
